 Camping for SCR 
and 
Great Lakes National.
Our  board at Richfield Park BMX  have requested that onsite camping  be allowed while we host major races.  Unfortunately, we have been denied this priveledge and asked to direct those who prefer to camp to contact the Genesee County Parks and Recreation Department to make reservations  at the Wolverine Campground and/or the Cummings Equestrian Center.  Wolverine Campground is approximately 5 miles from the track and the Cummings Center is about 3 miles from the track.   Provisions at the Cumming Center are rustic.  Wolverine Campground has a beach and is a fully functional campground.  We have a hyper link to the Genesee County Parks on our opening page  that you can use if you scroll to the bottom part of the first page.   The sites we had inquired about that was close to the track we regret to say due to concerns over safety.  This factor has to do with campers having to use the roadside to get to the track from the proposed camping area.  If you are member of the Outdoor Adventure Campgrounds just south of the track make your reservations asap.  Otherwise, please get your lodging reservations asap because other events are taking place in the area during the Great Lakes National.
